Parking at Kreuzberg Pass (fee required)

Coming from the Puster Valley, turn off at Innichen into the Sexten Valley and continue to Moos. Coming from the Kreuzberg Pass, follow the main road. Start at the parking lot at the Kreuzberg Pass.

The starting point for this snowshoe hike is the Kreuzberg Pass (1,636 m). From here, follow winter hiking trail no. 131 towards  Klammbachalm / Nemesalm / Stiergarten. The wide, rolled forest path leads through the forest, climbing gently in several curves. After a while, you will reach another signpost, where you follow trail no. 131 towards alpine pasture Nemesalm.

The groomed forest trail continues to climb gently, offering beautiful views of the surrounding winter landscape. You will pass several forks in the path – stay on trail no. 131, which eventually merges into trail no. 13. Finally, the terrain opens up and you reach the idyllically situated alpine pasture Nemesalm (1,877 m).

From here, follow trail no. 13 for a short distance towards Klammbachalm before turning left into the open terrain. The ascent now becomes significantly steeper – climb over wide snowfields to Pfandleck (2,365 m). Once at the top, you are rewarded with a magnificent panoramic view of the Sexten Dolomites and the surrounding mountains.

The descent follows the ascent route back to the Kreuzberg Pass. Alternatively, the tour can be continued to the alpine pasture Klammbachalm (1,944 m).
