From the right side of car park, follow the service road uphill. Afterwards, a hiking trail, briefly bearing left, leads through the forest for a short time and then over a meadow and through a forest once more. One finally reaches a high plateau with numerous hay barns. Head right uphill past the barns ascending through a steep piece of woodland that ends in a shelf and leads along an increasingly narrow ridge towards the peak of the Platter Berg mountain. From the peak, follow the same route back to the starting point.

From Meran/Merano to the Passeiertal Valley in direction of Timmelsjoch Mountain Pass and Moos/Moso until Kratzegg (Ulfas).

Vom Parkplatz rechts einem Güterweg folgend emporsteigen. Daraufhin führt uns ein Wanderweg kurz links durch einen Wald, anschließend über eine Wiese und erneut durch einen Wald. Daraufhin gelangt man auf eine Hochebene mit mehreren Heuhütten. Nun rechts hoch an den Hütten vorbei ein steiles Waldstück emporsteigen, das dann bei einem Rücken endet und in einem enger werdenden Grat zum Gipfel des Platter Berges führt. Vom Gipfel aus geht es dieselbe Strecke wieder zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.
