Drive from Brunico-Bruneck or Chienes-Kiens to Falzes-Pfalzen and on to the hamlet Plata-Platten (approx. 1600 m above sea-level). Park your car at the Tierstallerhof.

Farmstead just outside the hamlet and follow the ample forestry road (no. 67) through the woods, into the valley and on to the Malga Plata-Plattner Alm mountain inn (approx. 1830 m, one hour from Plata-Platten). Cross the pastures along trail no. 67 and hike uphill to the smaller ones of the Plata-Platten lakes.

Then continue uphill to where the ridge runs a little lower (to the east of the peak) and follow the easy trail which leads west along the ridge. After a few minutes, you will reach the peak (2435 m). Total hiking time from Plata-Platten: 3 hours. Return along the same route.
