Route description
The start is in St. Johann in Ranui which is located behind St. Magdalena. Go the Way nr. 28 up to the Broglesalm to the Munkelweg. Follow the way a little bit till you reach the crossing with the way nr. 6A, which leads to the Pana-Scharte. From there descend on the way 2B in western direction and than ascend on the steep track 29 to the Mittagsscharte. Descend from the other side to the Munkelweg 35, than to the Gschnagenhardt-Alm and from there over the way 34 back to St. Johann in Ranui.
Author's tip
Due to the length of the tour, it is recommended to split the hike over two days and combine it with an overnight stay (e.g. Mountain hut Regensburgerhütte).

General description

The small Geisler-round is with over 20 km and nearly 1800 height-meters a long and challenging Mountaintour in the wonderful Villnösser Mountainformation. Only for trained and mountain experienced hiker.
