Mittereck Mountain in Vallelunga is truly magnificent skiing. The route is quite clear and there is a very low avalanche risk—as long as you make sensible choices. Just one safety note: good equipment, an appropriate level of physical fitness, comprehensive planning of the ski tour, and the ability to recognise natural hazards are essential.
