Difficult ski tour

As with any ski tour, you should always have all your ski touring equipment with you.

Parking is available in Magdfeld

From Merano / Meran to the Passeier Valley in direction of Passo Rombo / Passo Giovo until Ponte Clava / Neuhaus and then furtheron to Magdfeld.

Weather conditions permitting, the Rappenhöfe farms should also be accessible by road. Otherwise, the hike starts from the Magdfeld car park. Take the wide service road to the Rappenhöfe farms on the way up to the Valser Alm Alpine pasture. Pass the mountain hut and climb up a steep slope until arriving at the shepherd's hut. The path on the slope behind leads into a wide hollow. From here, continue left across the ridge to reach the Schwarzkopf summit.

Descent: Same as the ascent, leading down magnificent slopes and through the forest.
