Line 446 or, during peak season, line 440, Fischleintalboden bus stop
The starting point for this hike is Fischleintalboden (1,454 m). From here, follow the groomed winter hiking trail no. 102 into the valley to the Talschlusshütte (1,548 m), which can be reached in about 30 minutes. Directly to the right of the hut, trail no. 102 branches off to the Dreizinnenhütte. At first, it climbs gently through a wooded area before the actual ascent begins. Now it goes steeply uphill through open terrain into the Altsteintal valley. Over a distance of around 4.6 km, you continuously gain altitude, always with an impressive panorama of the Dolomites behind you. Finally, the view opens up to the world-famous Three Peaks – and you reach the Dreizinnenhütte (2,405 m). Now you can turn right at the hut and climb up to Sextner Stein (2,539 m). After a well-deserved break, descend back down to the valley via the same route
