At the top station there is also the "avalanche search station" of the 3 Zinnen AG where avalanche searches can be practised independently.

Tip: Alternatively, you can climb to the Stiergarten mountain station from Moos or from the Kreuzberg Pass/ Passo Monte Croce to the Stiergarten mountain station.
General description
IMPORTANT: Before a ski tour/snowshoe hike, it is essential to carefully study the weather conditions and the avalanche report or consult experts, and avalanche protection equipment is mandatory!

The special thing about Hornischeck/ Monte Arnese? You can stand with one foot in Italy and the other in Austria, because the Karnische Kamm/ Cresta Carnica forms the natural state border. The summit offers a unique view of the Sesto sundial and the peaks of the Three Peaks, as well as of the Austrian glacier world and the Comelico.
