The Ski tour about an hour from the Kreuznerhof inn car park (1481 m) and runs through picturesque forests and the meadows of the Walder-Alm inn all the way to the peak of Cima Lasta-Astjoch, or Burgstall, as it is also known. At 2194 m, the peak reveals unforgettable views of Brunico-Bruneck, the snow-capped giants of the Vedrette di Ries-Rieserferner range and the soft-rolling pastures of the Luson-Lüsen plateau. The trails are almost level and perfect for exploring the quaint, lake-dotted plains between the Rastnerhütte inn and the peak of Cima Lasta-Astjoch. For a well-deserved break, stop at the Campoforte-Starkenfeldhütte or Rastnerhütte inns.
