Description to arrive at destination
From Mühlbach, drive north and follow the signs uphill to Meransen. After passing through the village center of Meransen, continue following the signs towards Altfasstal. Once you leave Meransen, the road leads directly into Altfasstal. At the end of the road, you will reach the paid parking lot, which serves as the starting point for hikes in Altfasstal. The road is paved and easy to drive. Plan approximately 20 to 25 minutes for the journey from Mühlbach to the parking lot.
Route description

Start in the Altfasstal and walk leisurely to the Wieserhütte or Pranterstadlhütte. Here begins the ascent to the Seefeldspitz. The trail follows the Seefeldbach to the stunning Großer Seefeldsee at nearly 2,300 m, a perfect spot for a short break.

From the lake, the path continues to the Seefeldalm (not serviced). After passing the Alm, the trail veers slightly to the left. Follow the Seefeldspitz trail markers, guiding you through alpine landscapes and well-maintained paths to the summit.

General description
The hike to the Seefeldspitz is an extended tour requiring endurance, but it rewards you with unparalleled landscapes. Three picturesque mountain lakes along the way invite you to pause and enjoy the scenery. The summit offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
Parking
A paid parking area is available at the entrance to Altfasstal Valley, making it a convenient starting point for your hike.
