Taking just one and a half hours, the hike from Scena village center to Tirolo is very simple and easy to complete. There are interesting sights and lovely panoramic views to be enjoyed en route.  

• Bus line 231 from Meran to Schenna (bus stop: center)

• Bus line 221 from Dorf Tirol to Meran
• Bus line 231 from Meran (bus stop Plankensteinstraße) to Schenna

The starting point of this hike from Schenna to Dorf Tirol is the tourism office in Schenna. Behind the tourist office and the Prunner shop, the Riffianerweg with trail marker No. 1 branches off. Follow this path until, after about one kilometer, you turn left onto "Waldweg" path and continue to the Maiser Waalweg. Follow the direction of the river until you reach the sign "Dorf Tirol" and then follow it over the small wooden bridge, the Passersteg. On the other side of the river, walk along the Passeiertal cycle path downstream and then follow trail No. 5A for about 700 meters to the center of Dorf Tirol.

On foot or by the local bus, you can then return to the starting point in Schenna.
