Start: Zans (1680 m), continue the Way 6 till the Tschantschenonalm (1928 m) and ahead till the Kreuzjoch. Now follow the route 3 on the south to the diversion which leads over a sharp flank to the Wasserscharte (path 13, 2642 m). Now climb down approx. 80 m and go north ways over the Val Mont dall'Ega to the foot of the Mountain Wasserkofel. Over a short and not all too difficult climbing passage up to the south flank and ahead without a way in serpentinen up to the peak of the Wasserkofel on 2924 m.

Descend similar as the ascend.
