This pleasant circular hike connects the two villages of Niederrasen and Oberrasen in a particularly varied way. The route first leads through the water adventure park "Wasserwaldile" forest and uphill to the idyllic Oberstaller farms, offering beautiful views of both villages along the way.

Afterwards, the trail continues comfortably downhill to Oberrasen before returning peacefully along the Antholz stream back to Niederrasen.

The combination of forest trails, rural landscapes, and pleasant valley paths makes this tour ideal for families and nature lovers.

Comfortable hiking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are sufficient. The hike is technically easy and well suited for families.

From the Pustertal road, turn into the Antholz Valley and drive to Niederrasen.

Take bus line 431 from the Olang-Antholz train station or from Lake Antholz to Niederrasen.

The starting point is Niederrasen.

Shortly after the last bus stop “Hinteraue,” the path through the water adventure park Wasserwaldile branches off to the right. Follow trail no. 20, which climbs gently but steadily through the forest.

Eventually, you reach the paved road, which you continue to follow until arriving at the idyllic Oberstaller Farms.

From there, continue along the paved road on trail no. 5, which leads comfortably downhill to Oberrasen.

Afterwards, follow the path along the Antholz stream back to Niederrasen.
