The Frin Loop is one of the most beautiful cross-country ski trails in the Carezza Dolomites area, winding through the wide snow-covered Frin meadows at the foot of the Rosengarten | Catinaccio massif. The 3.7-kilometre circular trail offers breathtaking views of the Rosengarten | Catinaccio and Latemar, combining enjoyable cross-country skiing with the spectacular scenery of the Dolomites.

Prepared exclusively with natural snow, the trail is suitable for both classic cross-country skiing and skating. Thanks to its easy difficulty, it is ideal for beginners and families. The use of the trail is free of charge.

The starting point is located along the Via Nigra road at the Jolanda bus stop and can easily be reached by car or public transport.

The Frin Loop crosses the wide Frin meadows, combining enjoyable cross-country skiing with the striking backdrop of the Rosengarten/Catinaccio and Latemar.

- 180 from Bozen | Bolzano, Birchabruck | Ponte Nova
- 180 or 184 from Karerpass | Passo Costalunga
- 184 from Weissenstein | Pietralba, Petersberg | Monte San Pietro, Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente, Stenk (or 181 and change 180)
- 184 from Obereggen, Eggen | Ega (or 184 and change 180)
- 187 from Steinegg | Collepietra, Gummer | San Valentino (or 182 and change 180)

The trail starts below the Via Nigra road parking area. From there, follow the signs and the forest road to a charming mountain hut, where the circular trail begins.

The trail is prepared for both classic skiing and skating. The classic track and the skating lane run side by side through the snow-covered Frin meadows, offering magnificent views of the Rosengarten | Catinaccio and Latemar. Thanks to the clear route and excellent trail preparation, navigation is straightforward. As the trail forms a loop, you can complete as many laps as you wish.
