During the wintertime the vallunga trasforms hisself in a Winterwonderland. The snow which covers the forest trasmits a mystic flair and you can enjoy the quitness of the valley.

Pass the Val Gardena till Selva, then follow the signs "Vallunga" till the parking La Cajota.

For experienced cross-country skiers there is a 5 km red training slope, which has also been approved for national cross-country races
