This walk leads from Laion to Ceves and up to the Unterpulghütte hut, and from there to Pedrutsch and back along the Poststeig trail. Along the way there are beatiful views of the Dolomites.

Coming from the north you will reach our region via Munich - Kufstein - Innsbruck - Brenner - Klausen (exit Chiusa / Val Gardena), the SS Val Gardena - at the roundabout in Novale/Ried-Lajen you turn to Lajen/Laion.  From here you are within a few minutes in your resort Lajen.

From Laion (1,093m), the Poststeig trail leads east through the fields to Ceves (1,212m, refreshments served). From there trail no. 34 follows an ascending forest path, past the old Außergspoi farmsteads (1,342m) and Nuflatsch (1447m) and past the Unterpulghütte hut (1,550m; refreshments served). Trail no. 35 leads on in an uphill direction to Ramitzler Schwaige hut, and from there to a junction (1,613m; highest point of the route). From there trail no. 36 descends to trail no. 8a, which follows trail no. 8 to reach  the Ranatsch farm (1,413m). Trail no. 9 now leads along meadows to the Höfestraße road. Close to Pedrutsch (1,267 m; refreshments served), you will connect to Poststeig trail no. P (signposted), which serves as return route. The way back follows a varied route through fields and woods, and finaly to S. Pietro (1,187m; refreshments served) and from Ceves back to Laion.
