By car from the Brenner Pass, take the A22 motorway to the Bolzano Sud exit, then take the MEBO expressway in the direction of Meran until the Terlan exit. From there, take the mountain road to Mölten and then the road to Vöran
Indeed the highplateau Tschöggelberg has no striking peaks, but this can bring advantages. One vantage would be the highly warm climatic situation, because there are no peaks interrupting the sun fall on the Tschöggelberg. Also this tour to the alp Leadner Alm and the yoke Vöraner Joch shows us the typical landscape character of the Tschöggelberg - smooth hills and wide spread green meadows. Important to mention is as well the alp "Rosshütte", lying directly under the alp Vöraner Alm. Here, and as well on the rest of the Tschöggelberg, the typical horse breed of the haflinger horses is at home.
By the car park "Grüner Baum" (1328m) starts the walking path no. 16. Along extended meadows and old sheds you will arrive at the "Leadner Alm" (1512m). On the way no. 11 you walk as well through meadows and woods until the "Rosshütte". Finally you take the hiking path 11A which is slightly surging to the "Vöraner Alm" (1879m). If someone wants to continue the way he can still hike to the "Vöraner Jöchl" which lies above the hut. For the way back follow the same way you already took to ascend.
