Parkingplace Schermoos - S. Jakob (Langfenn)
The romanesque church St.Jakob on the Langfenn is positioned on the most visible and on the highest point of the Salto (1525m). The church stands on prehistoric ground and could tell us probabely many interesting and exciting historical things. On the altar we can see Saint Jakob, the protector of all hikers, and on his side the two Patrons of the pest, Rochus and Sebastian..
By car from the Brenner Pass, take the A22 motorway to the Bolzano Sud exit, then take the MEBO expressway in the direction of Meran until the Terlan exit. From Terlan take the mountain road to Mölten. From Mölten in direction Jenesien until the parking place Schermoos.

You have to walk for approximately 15 minutes on the way no. 1 to Langfenn.
If you want to walk a bit further you could walk on the "Rundweg Langfenn", a circular walkingpath , which last about 1:20 hour.
