From Vintl, drive into the Pfunderer Tal, following the well-marked road to the Dun parking lot at the end of the valley. The road is paved and easy to navigate. Plan about 20–25 minutes for the drive.

You start at the Dun parking lot in Pfunders at 1,445 metres and follow the signs towards the Bodenalm and Eisbruggsee. The clear mountain lake is a suitable place for a short break. From there, the trail continues to the Edelrauthütte at 2,545 metres.

The ascent to the Napfspitze at 2,704 metres begins at the hut. The trail is well marked and can be completed without any major difficulties. From the summit, you can enjoy extensive views of the surrounding glaciers and peaks.

For the descent, you can either return along the same route or take the alternative route via the Gampielalm.
