The extremely impressive peak tour to the mountain Telfer Weißen is for experienced alpinists an unforgettable experience.

From the fire station in Obertelfes you hike steadily up to the Telfer Almen. Arriving at the Telfer Almen, you climb up to the ridge between Rosskopf and Telfer Weißen, the Ochsenscharte.
A small trail leads in wide serpentines past the wide east flank uphill to the smaller summit and continues through easy climbing to the slightly higher main summit. The return follows the same route as the ascent.

By bus 315 (Sterzing/Vipiteno-Telfes/Telves) from Sterzing to the bus stop "Obertelfes/Telves di Sopra".

Von der Feuerwehrhalle in Obertelfes aus wandert man gleichmäßig ansteigend bis zu den Telfer Almen. Bei den Telfer Almen angekommen, steigt man dann zum Grat zwischen Rosskopf und Telfer Weißen, der Ochsenscharte, empor. Ab der Ochsenscharte führt ein Steiglein (Weg Nr. 23) in weiten Serpentinen an der breiten Ostflanke aufwärts zum Vorgipfel und in leichter Kletterei zum etwas höheren Hauptgipfel. Der Rückweg erfolgt auf dem Aufstiegsweg.
