Rewarding mountain hike with wonderful panoramic views of the Spronser Lake district and the surrounding mountains.

Take a rented minibus or taxi from Tirolo into the Passeier Valley to Plan.

Take the hiking bus or a taxi from Dorf Tirol into the Passeier Valley to Pfelders (1622 m). Trail no. 6 leads through the forest to the edge of the
trees and to the Faltschnal Alp. From the pasture, the route continues through the Faltschnal Valley up to the Faltschnaljoch pass (2420 m). It then leads uphill across shale fields to the Spronserjoch (2520 m). The descent follows trail no. 6 down to Schiefersee and Grünsee lakes as far as the Oberkaser Alp refuge hut (2131 m). The rest of the descent is via the Jägersteig to the Mutkopf and from there on to Hochmuth inn. From here take the cable car back to Dorf
Tirol.
