In the centre of Mölten
General description

Hike through the beautiful larch forests between the main village Mölten and the fraction Verschneid . Especially in summer, this is beneficial to escape the heat. The trails are partly on a gravel road, partly on a path. From Verschneid you also have the opportunity to either go up to St. Georgen or to the inn Tschaufen. Also the plateau Salten is easily accessible from here

By car from the Brenner Pass, take the A22 motorway to the Bolzano Sud exit, then take the MEBO expressway in the direction of Meran until the Terlan exit. From there, take the mountain road to Mölten.

Route description

This hike starts at Mölten. First of all take path no. 4 and the following no. 4B. They lead directly to your aim Verschneid. On your way back you have to decide to take either the way on which you arrived or path number 12A and 6, until you arrive at the crossroad with way no. 4. It is situaded directly above Mölten and leads you to your starting point.
