Along the hiking trail from Meltina to Tschaufen, there is much to experience and see for young and old. In the meadows along the hiking trail and in the forests one meets different kinds of animals. There is a beautiful panorama on the albergo, and the Gasthof Tschaufen on the Salto awaits you with an extensive menu of homemade pastries and delicious cold dishes.

By car from the Brenner Pass, take the A22 motorway to the Bolzano Sud exit, then take the MEBO expressway in the direction of Meran until the Terlan exit. From Terlan take the mountain road to Mölten.

If you start at Meltina, take path no. 4 to pass San Giorgio and from here no 2 to arrive at the village Frassinetto. From here take path No. 2A to arrive at "Niedermoos" and on path 7A  and 7 you will pass the small lake "Tschaufer Weiher". After some minutes ayou will finally arrive at restaurant Tschaufen.
