Take your time and enjoy your walk. If possible, walk barefoot, feel the forest floor beneath your feet, and leave your smartphone in your pocket.
Breathe deeply, listen to the birds, and enjoy the moment – this is how the Kneipp Trail unfolds its full effect.

The Kneipp Trail invites you to experience nature, movement, and relax in a truly special way. Along the approximately 1.2-kilometre forest path between Tann and Bad Siess, you immerse yourself in the holistic health philosophy of Sebastian Kneipp.
Along the route, you will discover the five pillars of the Kneipp philosophy: water, movement, nutrition, herbs, and balanced living.
Here, you will find a place of peace and tranquillity – far away from noise and everyday stress. Leave your routine behind, take a deep breath, and take time for yourself. Step by step, you will not only feel closer to nature, but also to yourself.

Pay special attention near the water areas, as the ground can be slippery. Move carefully in these sections. Children should always be supervised near water.
Please do not let your dog bathe in the water to help keep it clean. Walk mindfully and at your own pace.
Hiking respectfully!
Stay on marked trails, do not enter the meadows.
Take your litter with you and throw it in the rubbish bins.

For your walk on the Kneipp Trail, we recommend comfortable shoes or – for the more adventurous – walking barefoot. Depending on the season, wear weather-appropriate clothing. A small towel is recommended.
The Kneipp Trail is a nature-based experience path for body, mind, and soul – ideal for anyone who wants to relax, recharge, and do something good for themselves.

The Kneipp Trail leads along the forest trail (no. 27) into the wood and, after 400 m, branches off to the right onto trail no. 8. From here, you enter a peaceful forest landscape. The well-signposted path leads you comfortably through the forest and past several stations that introduce you to Sebastian Kneipp’s philosophy. Most of the route runs along flat, natural paths, and you can choose your own pace according to how you feel. The return follows the same route as the outward journey.
