Wherever you look in San Genesio/Jenesien, you cannot avoid noticing the Haflinger, a robust, undemanding and foot-sure variety of mountain horse. Once a workhorse for farmers, today it is considered a charming, versatile leisure horse, well-siuted to beginners and expert riders, adults and children alike.

The horse farm Oberfahrerhof ist located above the parking place "Schermoos" (Valas/Flaas). It is attainable from Bolzano/Bozen - San Genesio/Jenesien - direction Valas/Flaas or from Meltina/Mölten - Valas/Flaas.

The crossroad (beside the parking place "Schermoos") is on the left-hand side if you arrive from Meltina/Mölten and if you arrive from San Genesio/Jenesien it is on the right-hand side. The horse farm Oberfahrerhof is the third farm after the crossroad (there is also a sign: Oberfahrerhof).
