Take bus 221 from Merano to Dorf Tirol bus station in the centre of the village.

Along the Bolzano/Bozen-Meran/Merano expressway to the exit Meran South-Sinich/Sinigo - Dorf Tirol/Tirolo - along the main street to the tourist information association (main street 31).

Chargeable parking just down from the tourist information association near the turn-off onto Aichweg.

Start at the tourist information center, and walk along Aichweg street to St. Rupert’s Church. Next head left uphill to Lingweg street to just below the Seminary, then turn right towards the power plant. Continue left uphill to Auer Castle, then uphill to Plattergasse and up to Pamerkreuz. Cross over Haslachstraße street to the Woerndlehof, then bear left down to the Lutzhof and as far as Doss. Take Falknerweg trail back to your starting point.

This easy, family-friendly hike passes through the orchards of Dorf Tirol/Tirolo and is a real highlight during the apple blossom season!
