Mölten

On the trail from Mölten to Tschaufen there is a lot to experience and see for young and old. On the meadows along the trail and in the forest you will meet again different kinds of animals. On the Tschaufen there is a beautiful panorama and the restaurant on the plateau "Salten" spoils you with extensive menu of homemade pastries and delicious cold dishes.
hiking description: (Start: Mölten):
Take trail n. 4 to Saint Georgen, from there via path n. 2 to Verschneid and then along path 2A (Prohloch), 7A and 7, past pond Tschaufer Weiher. (2,5 hours).
If you start at Mölten, at the bus stop, you will reach at the walking paths no. 2 and 4 St. Georgen. At the way no. 4 you cross the farms "Spergserhöfe" and along the main street you reach the farm "Spoarer". Follow now the path no.4 until the crossroad by the Farm "Kohlbrenner". Turn now left to path no. 7 and follow it until you finaly reach Albergo Tschaufen.
On the way of return you caan take path no. 2 to Verschneid. From here you can continue to Mölten on the ways no. 4B and 10.
By car from the Brenner Pass, take the A22 motorway to the Bolzano Sud exit, then take the MEBO expressway in the direction of Meran until the Terlan exit. From there, take the mountain road to Mölten.
