From the parking area at the fire station, ride briefly back towards Merano until the first junction. There, turn left (follow the signs to Taser and St. Georgen).

The road climbs steeply for a short stretch, then turn right towards St. Georgen. Continue uphill until, shortly after the Mühlhaus guesthouse, you reach a left-hand bend.

In this bend, the signposted trail to Gsteier branches off.

Overlooking the Ifinger is the farmstead Gsteier. This very beautiful destination was always popular and sought after. The ride on the mountain bike, which is done exclusively on the paved farm access road, is not particularly long, but very steep.

Drive to Schenna. Carry on past the bottleneck and continue straight at the next fork in the road (signed Taser), then turn right to the parking lot at the fire department.
