Starting point: Kratzegg (Ulfas), at 1,504 m

Time of the year: Throughout winter

Always be informed about snow conditions and avalanche risk before setting off.
As with any ski tour, you should always have all your ski touring equipment with you.
Parking is available in Ulfas/Ulvas

From Meran/Merano to the Passeiertal Valley in direction of Timmelsjoch Mountain Pass and Moos/Moso to Platt/Plata until Ulfas.

 

Follow the dirt trail from the parking lot for a short stretch. Then take the short trail to the left through a forest, then across a beautiful meadow and again into another forest. The tour leads to a plateau with several Goodn (hay mountain huts). The ascent leads right through several steps and wide troughs on a round hill, after the Rossgruben to the left, a little steeper to the mountain ridge.

Departure: over magnificent slopes and hollows.
