Scenically rewarding hike to the Leiten-Alm mountain hut on the western slopes directly below the Ifinger mountain. Idyllic spots, unspoilt trails and inviting huts make this hike a genuine pleasure.

• Free Parking lot cable car Taser

From Meran direction Schenna and further to the valley station of the cable car Taser

• Bus line 231 from Merano to Schenna (bus stop: center)
• Bus line 233 or 234 from Schenna to the valley station of the cable car Taser.

At the mountain station of the Taser cable car, follow the sign with trail marker No. 18A and hike on a moderately ascending path through the forest to Ifingerhütte.
At the Ifingerhütte hut, pass through the wooden fence and continue for another 5 minutes uphill across grassy slopes until you see a flagpole and, right next to it, reach the rustic Leiten-Alm.
Heading east, after another short ascent to the so-called "Halsl," you reach the forest clearing Lenzeben. From there, descending along trails no. 24A and 24, you reach the Taser High-Trail, which you follow via the Eggerhof farm and Greitererhof farm back to the mountain station of the Taser cable car.
