The hike to Sas dla Para isn’t particularly demanding, but it does require a reasonable level of fitness. On the way back, treat yourself to a good lunch at the Fodara Vedla mountain hut.

Sas dla Para is located on the mountain pasture of Fordara Vedla. Its 2460 meters of altitude allow us to see as far as Cortina d'Ampezzo. Look at the gleaming roofs of the houses in the distance and experience the feeling of freedom as the alpine jackdaws dance to the rhythm of the wind above your heads.

Never underestimate the mountains. Even though this hike is relatively easy, do check the weather forecast beforehand, as conditions at high altitudes can change rapidly.

This hike requires hiking boots and suitable mountain clothing. Be sure to bring plenty of water, some energy bars, sun cream and a waterproof jacket in case of rain. Hiking poles are also recommended.

Die Pederü-Hütte ist von St. Vigil aus bequem mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln über die Linie 462 zu erreichen.
Wer mit dem Auto anreisen möchte, sollte beachten, dass die Zufahrtsstraße mautpflichtig ist. An der Hütte steht den Besuchern jedoch ein großer Parkplatz zur Verfügung.

From the Pederü Mountain Hut, take dirt track no. 7 on the left towards Malga Fodara Vedla / Sennes Mountain Hut.
Once you reach the mountain hut, pass to the left of the hut of the same name and follow the signs for Lavinores and Sas dla Para, continuing along the path to the summit.
The route presents no particular difficulties and is suitable for hikers with a minimum level of fitness. The walking time for the ascent alone is approximately 3½ hours.
