Fish pond at the Sandwirt
The recreational area with its fishing pond at Sandhof is freely accessible to both visitors and locals. Here, you can enjoy fishing in a relaxed setting without the need for a state fishing licence. The pond is an especially popular destination for families, as children can experience catching their first fish in a fun and easy way.
A day ticket costs €22.00 and includes the right to keep 4 trout. A box of bait is available for €3.50, and fishing equipment can be hired for €2.00.
Opening hours: Open on public holidays from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. The fishing pond is closed on the following working day.

• Coming from the Timmelsjoch towards Moos, continue on the Timmelsjochstraße to Sandhof, shortly after St. Leonhard
