In autumn 1494, 23-year-old Albrecht Dürer stopped in Chiusa during his journey to Italy. Today, a pleasant walk leads to the Dürer Bench, where the artist admired and sketched the town and surrounding landscape. The nearby Dürer Stone offers the chance to experience his historic viewpoint.

Exit the motorway at Klausen and take the first exit at the roundabout. At the second roundabout, take the second exit. Follow the road and, after the Q8 petrol station, turn left towards Marktplatz 1.
