Easy circular hike from Welsberg along the Dolomites Panorama Trail with beautiful views and sunny route.

Various parking possibilities in the village centre of Welsberg.

Coming from Innsbruck/Brennero (A): Drive on the Highway of Brennero (A22) until the exit Bressanone/Val Pusteria, then go on along the SS49-E66 for about 58kms until you arrive in Monguelfo.
Coming from Lienz (A): You can reach us also padding by Lienz in Westtyrol (A). You have to cross the Austrian-Italian border between Ahrnbach and Winnebach (B100-E66) and drive on the SS46-E66 until Monguelfo.

From the tourist information office in Welsberg (1087 m), walk through the center of Welsberg until you reach in front of the fire brigade building, in the area of the intersection for the Gsiesertal Valley (1090 m). Above the crossroads, follow the Dolomiten-Panoramaweg trail on the sunny side of Welsberg, past farmsteads to the "Samwald" forest and on to Taisten. Past the "Kreuzbichl" and the swimming pool you return to Welsberg. The route is also doable in the opposite direction, starting in Taisten.
