The via ferrata Tabaretta  is one of the most difficult and impressive in Europe. The via ferrata has many steep passages and not so many resting places. The mountain scenery and the perfect view of the Ortler north face is priceless, which is why this tour is a must.

Climbing only if the weather is safe and in any case you have to wear a helmet!

Complete via ferrata set and helmet and for weaker climbers a short safety rope.

The via ferrata Tabaretta is one of the most demanding in the Alps.

At the entrance of the village, between Hotel Bambi and Hotel Eller, there is a paid public parking lot. It offers a sufficient number of parking spaces and is easily accessible from the main road.

From Spondigna/Spondinig via the street to the Stelvio Pass SS 38 to Gomagoi, then left to Solda. From Spondigna to the parking area is it approx. 20 km.

If you do not want to travel to Solda by private car, you can use the pubblic transport. With the bus line 271 you get from Prato allo Stelvio/Spondigna to Solda in about half an hour. The bus stop is located directly at the tourist office Solda.

At the Tabaretta alpine hut (2,556 m) we see a sign for "Klettersteig/Ferrata". Follow the straight and exposed track until you come across a gravel path. Just before the approach to a drumlin, climb a few metres along the scree valley until the beginning of the via ferrata.
