Green mobility is a top priority in South Tyrol. Thanks to Kaltern’s public charging stations, electric vehicles can be easily charged. The Alperia charging stations are spread throughout the village and can be found at the following spots:

- Car Park along the wine road (Weinstraße - P5), a 5 minute walk from the village centre of Kaltern
- The valley station of the Mendel cable car in St. Anton
- Bathing facility “Lido” at Lake Kaltern
- Primary school in Oberplanitzing
