The cableway Aschbach/Rio Lagundo leads from Rabland/Rablà up to the idyllic village of Aschbach/Rio Lagundo at 1,362m. From the mountain station, take Route n° 27A along the trail through the forest to the intersection with Route n° 27. From there take Route n° 30 until the Mahlbach dam, at 1,218 m) and after a 10 min. hike on Route n° 29 at the fork, take the turning to the right and continue for about 25 min. on Route n° 9 as it winds its way downhill, past the old lime furnace in Quadrat to the Brünnl inn and then on to to the Gramegg inn. The tar road leads to the Aschbach/Rio Lagundo intersection past the Niederhof inn at 811 m. From here take Route n° 29A to the "Badlweg” (along the forest track to Töll/Tel) and then to the lower Aschbach/Rio Lagundo cableway at 525 m.

General description

The Aschbach/Rio Lagundo cable car quickly ascends to 1,362 m, bringing visitors up to the attractive village of Aschbach/Rio Lagundo, one of the best hikes for exploring the Nörderberg mountain!
