The single-nave Gothic church was built between 1467 and 1470 by Master Jörg as a parish church and is now one of the town’s most notable historic buildings.
The exterior is characterized by its simple portal, the small pyramid-shaped roof turret and the Gothic five-eighths choir. Particularly striking are the four pointed-arch windows with delicate tracery, which give the building an elegant and refined appearance.
