The starting point for the hike is the Simian parking lot. Hiking trail number 4 takes you along a beautiful hiking path, passing the cozy Riemerbergl Alm, which is located along the way. Stay on trail number 4 until you reach the Kofelraster lakes. After the first lake, turn left and continue on trail number 4 until you finally reach the summit cross of the Hohen Dieb.

Beim Staudamm in St. Walburg rechts abbiegen und der Straße bis zum Parkplatz Simian folgen.
From Simian we follow the marking no. 4 to the Riemerbergl alpine hut and further to the Kofelraster lakes. From there we follow the marking no. 4 again and again to the summit.
