The Adolf Munkel Trail, which runs beneath the imposing north faces of the Geisler/Odle peaks is one of the most spectacular hiking trails in the Dolomites.

Car park Zans subject to a fee

Through the Eisacktal/Valle Isarco valley to Klausen/Chiusa turn into Villnöss/Funes valley and drive to Zans

Take the bus from Klausen/Brixen to Villnöss in the Dolomites, up to Zans (Zanserhütte bus stop)

Tour length: 13 km, Tour duration: 4 h 30 min, Trail numbers: 6, 35, 28
Starting point is the parking lot Zans (1,685 m), where you can get easily by bus. First, walk along the hiking trail No. 6 towards Tschantschenon until you reach the bridge. Turn right and follow the Adolf Munkel Trail, No. 35. This trail leads you to Broglesalm hut (2,045 m) and from there you follow trail No. 28 descending to Ranui.
A shorter circular hiking tour is to follow trail No. 35 until Gschnagenhardt Alm hutand Geisleralm hut. Then the trail No. 36 leads to Dusleralm hut and back to Zans. • Tour lenght: 9 km • Tour duration: 3 h • Trail numbers: 6, 35, 36
