The most famous cross country track goes from the cross country stadium in Dobbiaco/Toblach in the direction to Cortina. The track leads a little uphill in the middle of the wood, passing the Lake of Dobbiaco, the War Cemetery, the View of the Three Peaks and the Lake of Landro/Dürrensee till the pass Cimabanche/Gemärk. From there it continues downhill throgh the galleries to Fiames.

The cross country track takes along the old railway track from Dobbiaco/Toblach in the direction to Cortina, which was closed in the early 1960s.
The nearby road with its several bus stops means that you can leave the trail at virtually any point, for example if you are tired or have problems with your equipment.
