Farm Holidays in Proveis

A Farm Holiday in Proveis means going on hikes far from the madding crowd and makes a restorative retreat amidst unspoilt countryside.

Proveis is the highest-lying village on Deutschnonsberg and is set at 1,420 metres above sea level. The mountain village is quiet and idyllic, surrounded by lush meadows and green woodland.
The church and a few cosy inns form the village centre. Once, there was a famous school for bobbin making here. Around the centre there are a few scattered farms. The small groups of farmsteads look like the set for a 'Heimat' film.
