The farm
The farm is located in a quiet and sunny spot on the high plateau of Natz-Schabs, in the idyllic hamlet of Viums – surrounded by orchards and with a magnificent view of the Eisack valley. Its special location combines restful tranquillity with short distances to Brixen, the Plose and the Puster valley. Hiking trails, cycle paths and numerous excursion destinations start right nearby.
For a relaxing holiday, there is a sunbathing lawn, a heated pool from April to October and a children's playground. The animals also contribute to the authentic farm experience: playful cats, a friendly farm dog, curious goats and hard-working hens provide lively impressions and are especially popular with children.
The former farmhouse was lovingly converted into five modern holiday apartments and a cosy farm tavern in 2021. Since June 2022, we have been welcoming our guests with warm South Tyrolean hospitality. The farm combines peace, nature and comfort – ideal for couples, families and connoisseurs.

Location & arrival
Arrival
Arrival by car: Take the Bressanone North/Val Pusteria exit on the Brenner motorway (A22) and continue for about 1 km towards Val Pusteria. Turn right towards Sciaves and follow the road into the village. At the church, turn left. After about 1 km you will reach Fiumes (Viums). At the fire station, turn left again – after 50 metres you have arrived. The Plattnerhof is approx. 5.3 km from the motorway exit.
Arrival by public transport:
Take the train to Bressanone, then bus 328 to Fiumes (Viums). Other nearby stations are Fortezza and Rio di Pusteria. On request, we are happy to pick you up from the station on your arrival day. With our guest card, you can travel free of charge on all public buses and trains throughout South Tyrol.
Arrival by airplane:
The nearest airports: Bolzano (45 km), Innsbruck (85 km) and Verona (200 km). Continue by train to Bressanone and then by bus 328 to Fiumes (Viums).
