Our cattle farm Planitzhof in Tagusens near Kastelruth is very quietly located in the middle of forest and meadows at 1030 m above sea level. We are a dairy farm and have been offering farm holidays in our comfortably furnished holiday apartments for over 50 years. We manage 8 hectares of meadows, 20 hectares of forest, a potato field, 16 hectares of alpine meadows, 8 hectares of which is leased land, and a cottage garden. On our farm there are 18 brown and Fleckvieh cows, 15 young cattle, calves, pigs, chickens, cats and our Willi, a very well-behaved, pure-bred Bernese mountain dog. Traditionally, in summer we bring the young cattle to the Seiseralm, the largest high pasture in Europe, where we have our own alpine hut with a barn.
