The farm
Our family-friendly Oberkantiol mountain farm is located at the end of the Villnösser valley, where meadows and forests provide a relaxing rest, with a view of the South Tyrolean Dolomites (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
Our farm is the direct starting point for hikes to the Villnösser Almen, even without a car or bus.

Location & arrival
Arrival
Take the Klausen motorway exit and drive for about 2 km on the state road in the direction of Brixen. Then, following the signs, turn right into the Villnöss valley. After approx. 15 km you will reach St. Magdalena. Do not drive directly into the village, but stay on the bypass road and follow the signs "Zanser Alm". Cross a bridge. Then the road gets a little narrower. After a few minutes you will see a crucifix on the left of the path and immediately after that there is a sign on the right "Oberkantiol," where you turn sharp right. And you are already on the direct road to the Oberkantiolhof. On top of the hill you see the farm and you're almost there.
