The farm
"Mechts net a Glasl koschtn?" calls organic farmer Heinrich with a smile from the tractor. A juicy apple for the children, a glass of "Nuin" - the new wine - to try. The passionate organic farmer does not talk about the premises of an authentic organic farm, such as transparency, quality or natural cycles in agriculture. He doesn't need that either, because he just lives it, with heart and mind.
And the guests here on his farm always have the opportunity to look over his shoulder and get a personal insight into life and work on the farm. This includes the sunny side of a rich harvest as well as the smaller and larger challenges that go hand in hand with farming according to ecological principles. "Work with nature - and not against it" is Heinrich Platter's creed and you can taste it.

Location & arrival
Arrival
It is best to leave the MeBo expressway at the Marling-Untermais exit and follow the road signs to Marling and Lana at the roundabout immediately after the exit. After the bridge, at another roundabout, continue straight ahead in the direction of Tscherms and Lana - you are now on the Gampenstraße - and then turn right in the village of Tscherms into the Lebenbergstraße. There you follow the road uphill for about five minutes by car to the Indian post, the exotic sign of identification and "Welcome" for our guests.
