In the heart of Vinschgau lies the Niedermaierhof - quiet and in the middle of orchards, with a neighborhood that leaves nothing to be desired: the spa town of Meran approx. 20 km away, the Stilfser Joch National Park, Juval Castle by Reinhold Messner, the Mediterranean Sonnenberg with its unique climate and the irrigation channels, Trauttmansdorff Castle, one of the most beautiful gardens in Europe.
Due to its unique location on the south side of the Alps and yet surrounded by the highest and most impressive peaks, Vinschgau is a special kind of climate island. This unique climate turns the valley into a garden of paradise in which almost everything thrives. But what would a paradise garden be without the famous apples? At the Niedermaierhof, we work in our orchards all year round with a love of nature, passion, diligence and the necessary specialist knowledge, and we produce many tons of apples. We are particularly proud of our organic farm and the good quality of our fruit.
