The farm
The Montecin Hof has been owned by the Stocker family for almost 200 years and has always been characterized by dairy farming. Located at 1400 m facing south with an extraordinary view of the Ortler in the warm Upper Vinschgau, guests can enjoy a particularly many hours of sunshine. Markus Stocker took over the farm from his father in 1993 and carefully brought the farming into the new era. In 1999 the farm was modernized and energetically renovated.
The cows are milked daily on Montecin and guests are welcome in the barn and can try their hand at milking. Children will love the goats and the playground in front of the yard. Several seating areas invite you to linger and there is a hammock for a siesta in the shade. In Grandma Cilli's garden, guests can help themselves to the herb tower. Guests can also use the barbecue in the garden.

Arrival
Coming from Reschen, drive along the main road to St.Valentin auf der Heide and continue in the direction of Mals. Continue through Mals to Tartsch. After the village of Tartsch, please turn left towards Matsch. Follow this road for approx. 3.7 km and then turn left again towards Muntatschinig. A narrow track will take you 1.3 km onto Montecinhof.
Coming from Meran drive to Tartsch. Before the village of Tartsch, turn right in the direction of Matsch. Follow this road for about 3.7 km and then turn left again towards Muntatschinig. A narrow track will take 1.3 km further onto Montecinhof.
