The farm
Our historic farm, family-owned since 1700, is located at 1,560 meters above sea level in the heart of the car-free village of Durnholz in the Sarntal. Here, in the home of quill embroidery and the Sarner mountain pine, tradition and culture are still alive.
Just under an hour away from Bozen, vacationers experience one of the most rustic valleys in South Tyrol - surrounded by lush green meadows, healthy forests and over 140 peaks with great views.
It is only a few steps to the idyllic town center with an inn and the St. Nicholas Church. Also in the immediate vicinity is Lake Durnholz, one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in South Tyrol. In winter, the nearby Reinswald ski area beckons.
