The farm
Simple and pure - typically Maierhof. The family atmosphere makes your holiday on the farm something very special, as do the values that are lived here: simplicity and contentment. Surrounded by the animals on the farm, you can experience nature up close and if you feel like it, you are welcome to lend a hand on the farm, in the field or in the stable. Children love to spend their time in the children's playground with a slide, trampoline, swing and sandpit, while adults browse through the books in the court library at the entrance to the old farmhouse.
Host Elmar reveals all sorts of interesting facts about milk production, from cutting the hay to milking. Farmer Clara shares her wealth of experience in vegetables, herbs and chicken farming with the guests in an entertaining way and you will learn all sorts of interesting things about the surrounding mountains. Here is the ideal starting point for hikes and mountain tours as well as winter sports activities.
